The Arts and Crafts Guild of the Washington Township

A search for the art community in the 1940s-1950s started with questions about some beautiful watercolors at the Shinn House.
Why were these watercolors of the Chadbourne estate here? Are they relevant to the Shinn family's history? The artist is Rachel Bentley of Palo Alto. Did she know our local watercolorist Ethyl Grau? Was she a friend of Florence Shinn? Gladys Williamson?

The Chadbourne property was turned into the Fremont Hub around 1964. So these watercolors could have been painted during the 1950s and early 1960s.
A search turned up the "Arts and Crafts Guild of the Washington Township" which sounded relevant.
